Lotería y Tacos Thursday, Sept. 19, 7 – 8 p.m. 

North Avenue West Centennial Rooms (120 North Avenue NW, Atlanta, GA View Map)  

A night of food, music, and Lotería, a bingo-style game. Winners will receive various giveaways during the event. Food provided by Rreal Tacos. Hosted by Housing and Residence Life.

Mini World Cup

Roe Stamps Fields, next to the Campus Recreation Center 

In this friendly competition, Georgia Tech students from all backgrounds will display their commitment to teamwork and love for soccer. Teams will represent 12 different countries. First- and second-place teams will receive a trophy and medals. Hosted by Intercultural Student Programs and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers.  

Direct to Discovery: Reading With a Researcher

Join STEM@GTRI, Intercultural Student Programs, and the Georgia Tech Library for a special Direct to Discovery interaction focused on celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with STEM Storytime. This free guest-reader session will feature Georgia Tech faculty members reading a Spanish-language storybook to K-5 students, discussing their STEM careers, and answering students’ questions. Trivia Night

Join the Latino Organization of GRAduate Students (LOGRAS) and Intercultural Student Programs for their third annual Hispanic Heritage Month (HHM) Trivia Night. This event will demonstrate the diversity of Hispanic and Latin cultures with questions about the food, art, science, and history of many Hispanic/Latin countries. Come with a team of up to four or find a team at the event. Food and refreshments will be provided, and prizes are up for grabs. RSVP is encouraged but not necessary.
